War-torn Bulgaria?!?! I haven't watched the movie and based on the stereotypes projected in only a few lines of synopsis, I'll probably never watch it. So, when exactly was there a war in Bulgaria? I mean, in the past 70 years at least? Perhaps, the director and screenwriter should have done a bit more than just cursory research before coming up with this "gem" of a movie plot. Or, perhaps they should have paid attention to their Geography teacher back in high school so that they'd know that Bulgaria was not part of former Yugoslavia (and therefore there was no war there). Also, the "blood diamonds" are to be produced or processed and sold in other geographic latitudes -- to the chagrin of the participants in this fiasco of a movie production. Too bad for Val Kilmer... I expected a bit more from him.
