I have seen a Christmas special or two of Downton and this is like that but on steroids. It's obviously targeting American audiences with long lingering camera shots of Maggie Smith and Kings and Queens coming to dinner. It was ok.

Mediocre at best. Its a greedy attemt to milk their audience, theres no reason for this not to be a TV special.

Disappointed with the king and Queen visiting who are nobodies, what would have made this great if it tied up with film heavyweight actors like the crown or kings speech
