영화 정보

Witness the origin story of one of legend's most captivating figures in the action-adventure, Dracula Untold. The year is 1462 and Transylvania has enjoyed a prolonged period of peace under the just and fair rule of the battle-weary Vlad III, the prince of Wallachia (Luke Evans, Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit series). But when Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper, Captain America: The First Avenger) demands 1,000 of Wallachia's boys -- including Vlad's own son -- become child soldiers in his army, Vlad must enter into a Faustian bargain to save his family and his people. He gains the strength of 100 men, the speed of a falling star, and the power to crush his enemies. In exchange, he's inflicted with an insatiable thirst for human blood that could force him into a life of darkness and destroy all that he holds dear. ... Can't say I found it memorable or a classic, just recall that I thought it was an OK attempt at another version of the theme and not dissapointed I saw it at the cinema.

I like the fact that the vampire is ugly and not romanticised at all in this movie. It's what a vampire would look like if they were actually real. They are a monster. This movie was good for what it was. Chris Evans always manages to do a great job no matter what movie he is in. This movie was great and I enjoyed from start to finish.

This really captured my imagination (and of course my attention). I wonder if in any future sequels they will feature Countess Bathory, as they supposedly might have known each other in real history? The Master vampire's voice sounded very familiar, like Mobius from the Soul Reaver (legacy of Kain) games, he bears a strong physical resemblance of that character too. That might be a little left of field but it was part of the reason I liked it as much as I did, I think.
