Two police detectives (Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn) find themselves suspended after a video of their strong-arm tactics is leaked to the media. In another part of town, a felon (Tory Kittles) is released from prison and discovers that his family is about to be evicted. With little money and no options, all three men descend into the criminal underworld, where danger awaits them in the shadows.

Can't stand how it ended. It's good, got great dialogue, great acting, but the ending just fell flat for me. I feel it was trying to convey a message, but it in the end, I just walk away with don't trust black folk. And I'm black myself, but I definitely wouldn't have turned out to be complete garbage like this guy.

Great fun movie. However, I notice the Play Store has 2 listings for this. One I own, the other is this page. On browser, look at the end of the URL, the two ID's show two of the same movie: /Dragged_Across_Concrete?id=ZZDR8ONLm5Q /Dragged_Across_Concrete?id=6XermaOABvo.P My version (ZZDR8ONLm5Q) is also in 4K when I open it on Play Movies on my AndroidTV, but only HD on GoogleTV Chromecast. Why is LionsGate unable to make their movies consistent \ allow 4K on all their titles they put on Play Movies? Sometimes I realize only their top budget titles are sold in 4K here, but then their indy small budget division posts repeating entries and never uploads 4K.

It's good. There's a bit of political dialogue in the beginning but it's used in enforcing the motives of the characters along with setting up the plot but that all falls away when it comes down to one of the most unforgiving, grind-housey, gore-ridden climaxes I've ever watched. Craig Zahler has raised the bar of his storytelling in each release and I can't wait for what's next.
