So, I play the game this is based off of and while it's not the best representation of the war 50years in the past from where the MMORPG starts its still a movie that embodies what I feel when I play the game. It is close enough to the story bits I know of from the game that it doesn't ruin the experience of watching the movie. Not to mention fans of shipping Warrior/Archer from the game this is so the movie for you. Liya and Lambert are just adorable. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, it was funny, full of action, and while the animation isn't up to the quality we are normally used to they put the time and effort into the most important parts. Cause that battle against the Black Dragon at the end was EPIC!!! Also the ending theme song for the movie, Gem of Love is just heart warming and inspiring. My major complaint story wise is the Dark Elf Queen Elena. She did not get the character model she deserved and she doesn't play the role she is supposed to from the game. There is a sequel in the works already and I'm looking forward to it.

If you take it at face value, and just enjoy it for what it is, a fun adventure with video game characters, you will be pleasantly surprised. It's not a deep movie, but definitely one worth watching. The romance is a surprisingly effective story, and I would definitely watch any sequel if they plan it. Great movie to watch with your gamer friends.

Loved this movie. I often read books filled with romance, adventure, and especially fantasy. This filled in all of that. To say, this is now my favorite movie of all time for me. ;D
