The film tells the inspiring true story of Dream Alliance, an unlikely race horse bred by small town bartender, Jan Vokes. With very little money and no experience, Jan convinces her neighbors to chip in their meager earnings to help raise Dream and compete with the racing elites. Their investment pays off as Dream rises through the ranks and becomes a beacon of hope in their struggling community.

I enjoyed this movie more than expected. It is an uplifting story about a group of friends and this horse they manage to get into the racing circuit.( and they are amateur's ) While I'm not generally a horse racing fan, it was heartwarming and has you cheering. I liked the small town perspective with all that has been going on in the world.

One of the best, sappiest, feel good movies of the year! You'll cheer, laugh, scream and cry all in under 2 hours. Glad I followed my gut instinct and bought it instead of just renting it! It's one of those movies you want in your collection, just to be able to watch it again and again any time you feel the need to laugh, love and cheer. Kind of puts you in mind of a modern day National Velvet, only with better acting and a solid cast that didn't once disappoint. A solid 6 stars!!!

A lovely story with terrific acting and excitement! Toni Collette is one of my favorite actresses and the entire cast were wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Inspiring people to live their best life and finding hope. if you need a pick-me-up this is a good movie to watch! Funny and well written, directed, and acted!
