Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson) work together at a craft brewery. They have one of those friendships that feels like it could be something more. But Kate is with Chris (Ron Livingston), Luke is with Jill (Anna Kendrick) and Jill wants to know if Luke is ready to talk about marriage. The answer to that question becomes crystal clear when Luke and Kate unexpectedly find themselves alone for a weekend. Drinking Buddies is written and directed by Joe Swanberg and stars Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick, and Ron Livingston.

If youv had moments like this in ur life or someone you kinda had a similar relationship with u can see and feel how clever the director was in that there are some scenes (hole scenes) with not one word yet you are actually smiling and hitting the sofa in excitement im being deadly serious im mickey im 25 from london england im not some pr guy or anything im just saying this as good films should be spread :-)

boring. nothing happened, an hour and a half of my life that ill never get back...

Loved it! Relatable and real but so funny and moving
