Vijay Salgaonkar runs a cable TV network in a remote village of Goa. He lives a happy life with his wife Nandini and two daughters. A 4th grade dropout & an orphan, Vijay has worked his way towards success with his sheer hard-work & street smartness in order to provide for his family. His wife, while she loves him devoutly, wants Vijay's thrifty & miserly behavior to end. If there's one thing that Vijay cannot live without, it is his passion for watching films. Such is his 'filmy' obsession that he doesn't mind staying up all night at his office binging on TV movies! In a bizarre turn of events; a teenage boy goes missing; he is the son of a headstrong & no-nonsense cop; IG Meera Deshmukh and the Salgaonkar family is the prime suspect! Will a humble & middle class man, be able to protect his family from oppression of the powerful? hello.applause! India has got a mystery-thriller picture.Wow! they have started to make good movies.Wow! people please stop paying for mediocrity.there are so many edge of the seat thrillers out there in the world & here in India we settle for weak stuff. what was thriller in this so called best bollywood suspense?Only thing good is Tabu's superb acting.khiladi,bazigar,gupt, itefaq,bhool bhulaiya & other Indian small indie movies are far better & entertaining.And the best in the world "andhadhun"

Worst remake ever! This Hindi remake is NOTHING when compared to the original Malayalam movie. None of the 'actors' don't know how to act. Malayalam has done it very well! In fact, every one of them. Especially that little girl. Nobody can call this Hindi version as a thriller movie. But Malayalam, is truly thrilling!

Great remake of the original Malayalam movie. Acting wise, Ajay Devagan and others need to improve a lot. It's no match to the original. If possible watch the Malayalam one with subtitles. I watched the last 20 minutes or so, from the questioning of the family at the police station and onwards. It's no comparison to the original, substandard to be precise.
