I went to see this because the critics raved about it. Now I remember why critics don't make movies, because they would suck as much as this movie suck the life out of me. It felt like it was trying to take my life force and transfer it into this film. This was one of the most boring films that have ever wasted money on. I've see Arnold Schwarzenegger put more life into a character while playing an emotionless cyborg. When the characters would talk they were very quite, then the most obnoxious background music would blare at a volume that would distract you from this already unengaging film. Probably the biggest mistake was calling this move Drive and showing pretty much the whole drive scene in the trailer. If you would have called it A Quite Man and not shown any driving scenes in the trailer I might have liked it. But I went to see an action movie not a love story. I call that lying to the public. Maybe it would have done better if the ad campaign would have targeted the correct audience instead of the Fast and Furious group. I would recommend this DVD for coaster duty for my next glass of iced-tea.

don't listen to these idiots complaining about how "boring"this movie is. they have a low attention span and aren't mature enough to understand this movie. it just shows the expectations of todays American audience. Drive is an excellent movie 10/10. one of the first movies that made me THINK about it after the credits roll, unlike most movies out today. Please, buy this movie. everything is well done. the acting. the incredible soundtrack. the lighting and camera effects. Drive is the nest cult classic.

Many people expect Drive to be like any number of childish car action movies that have flooded the market over the past 10 years. If that is your expectation, a "2 Fast 4 Furious 8," (crap) then you will be disappointed. Drive is more of a thriller or Michael Mann style crime drama than action movie. Think Mann's "Thief" or "Heat," and mix it with a little David Lynch. Not that there isn't action; the action scenes feel more intense and entrancing because of their stark realism. Overall great movie.
