This movie is just as dumb as the first. It's not a true classic like its predecessor but thankfully neither character got any brighter. If you honestly like the first movie and you're not just jumping on the bandwagon because your friends liked it... You will enjoy Daniels and Carrey reprising their dumbest roles. 5/5 stars... Because they captured the stupidity again and only used a few properly placed callback jokes.

Can't even count how many times I've seen the original. Its the only movie I have ever watched twice (almost three times) in a row. This was simply pathetic. The good parts were the jokes in the trailer, the acting was over the top, they had callbacks to the original movie, but overall was simply pathetic. Really wanted to love it too.

I viewed the original dumb and dumber yesterday for the 80th time and I laughed out loud over a 100 times still. Viewing the sequel for the first time, first showing opening day mind you. I laughed out loud 3 times. The original was my favorite movie since I was 10. My whole life I was looking forward to this and knew if it was ever made it wouldn't be that good but still hilarious just to see these guys in costume again. That's about all that was funny with this movie.
