This movie.... Cinematics pretty amazing other than a couple of unrealistic sand and worm physics and some pretty fake looking water physics. The sound was horrible, maybe the volume of the theater I was in was to loud but the ear piercing chanting, throat singing and loud bang of drums made the whole film feel much to dramatic. Most importantly it failed to create a melody, a sound unique to the film that made you feel. Instead you just get bombarded by loud bangs and shreaks... horrible.

Boring and all human characters. They spent so much to pay for the A-List actors that they had none left for anything else. Too much talking and barely any action. I didn't read any of the LOTR books and still enjoyed it a lot, but then likewise, I didn't read the Dune books and found the movie to be really bad, go figure.

Garbage. The 1st half hour is literally just various ships taking off and landing to some REALLY LOUD music & sound effects! But it has no meaning like, "ok and...?". And the rest of the movie is the same. It's just a string of uninteresting events. I knew what was happening. I just didn't care because it was all just so boring.
