Snímek „Duna“ vypráví příběh Paula Atreida, geniálního a nadaného mladíka, který byl předurčen k velkým věcem. Paul se během své mytické a emocemi nabité cesty musí vydat na nejnebezpečnější planetu vesmíru, aby zajistil budoucnost jak své rodiny, tak svého lidu. Když se na planetě rozhoří konflikt o mizivé zásoby vzácné komodity, která lidem poskytuje mimořádné psychické schopnosti, přežijí jen ti nejodvážnější.

Hodnocení a recenze

Do not waste your time or money. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It's slow and hard to follow. Had to keep turning it down on certain scenes & back up again to hear them talk. Only made it 40 minutes in the first time I tried watching, decided to give it another chance & finish it - still terrible.

4k sucks altogether it takes to much away and make it look fake....that said i hate movies that do not end ow i have to wait till there is enough salles of this movie for them to make the next instalment which may never come... eg tomorrow when the war began got the 1st movie (book) and that was it...... feel like this is going to be milked for all the money they can get and this movie will be destroyed

As a fan of the books I found this an adequate attempt to deliver a Dune movie. The scale and scope are well done and most aspects of what is a very challenging form of Sci-Fi story are delivered on. A few negatives where not making Lady Jessica a much stronger personality, not showing Mentat as trained autistic, etc; many missed opportunities. Major failing; audio, sound, music, missing script. I want strong dialog that I can really hear, NOT some atmospheric music video! The Bagpipes! ;-(
