I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Having grown up in the 80s and being a fan of the cartoon version, I was concerned about how this adaptation would turn out. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was reminiscent of Snatch, but with a D&D twist. The cast did a great job, and I found myself laughing at their interactions throughout the film. Wish I'd seen it in theaters, but glad I finally got to see it. A movie that really does justice to the fun the game can bring, while actually not being an embarrassment. I can't speak to your impression of it if you've never played the game, but it seemed like everything was explained well enough that you'd be able to follow along just as easily. Great cast, great writing, great effects, great direction, great job all around. Rewatched this thing like 3 times already and not stopping.
