This is the worst movie I have probably ever seen. Idk why Anyone is rating this good. Don't get me wrong I enjoy war movies and all types of movies. Saving private Ryan Is my favorite movie. This movie is so dull. Very little action, very little acting. Very little anything. It feels chopped up, they keep switching perspectives. And they have Tom hardy in it who says all of 3 words. Lol. This movie is a joke. 100,000 people lost their lives here and this movie doesn't make it seem that way. Drawn out and boring. Best part was the credits at the end

Didn't like it one bit man, I was looking forward to this being a great gun fighting, limb flying movie full of violence. Like how WAR really is. Movie has the worst pilot in history(let's 3 ships get sunk) and gets captured at the end . 3 versions all mashed into one big ugly movie. Trust me if you ARE AMERICAN. You will hate this French movie

In terms of cinematography, it was a great movie. Very well shot. In terms of a movie worth watching, it wasn't. If you've seen the trailer, you've pretty much seen everything. I have no idea who any of these characters were - didn't even know their names. It was disjointed, confusing, plodding, cumbersome, confusing (worth saying twice), and uninspired. It seems more like the director wanted to show off his directing chops rather than telling a compelling story. Very glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater. Kinda wish I hadn't paid to stream it. Very disappointing.
