Julia, an American woman who married a Romanian expatriate, arrives in Bucharest to start a new life. But when a women killer strikes the city, she notices a neighbor constantly watching her from his window. More and more anxious, she tries to talk about it to her husband who is very doubtful - he even makes fun of her in front of their friends - until the neighbor attacks her and almost cuts her throat in the apartment.
