I've seen this film loads of times and it's absolutely brilliant! I just love it! I'd say it's one of my favourite science fiction films of all time! Steven Spielberg's a total genius. I never hated this film and I never said it's rubbish, stupid or boring. Don't mind anyone who thinks this film is crap. Hating this film is just for losers.

when the children of a neighbor hood district discover an alien there can only be one out come mayhem and find that he is being hunted by the government deciding his fate the friends gather together and attempt to help our alien chum return to his home planet in this truly original master piece of a movie leaving nothing out and no stone unturned this is one of the mega titles that came from Hollywood and its movie studios and executives at that time stunning awesome tear jerking and laugh out loud funny e.t has it all.
