In a small Iowa town, a teenage outcast, Chris, and a local family man, Denny, have their lives intertwined by a split second decision that results in a tragedy. Running away, Chris finds a mentor in his con artist uncle who propels him into a world of petty crime, while Denny heads down a toxic path of denial. The two worlds eventually collide as they both fight to redeem their past.
