Set in the summer of 1984 in Sandusky, Ohio, teenager Eric Hunter is terrified and exhilarated by his sexual attraction to Rod, a college student and co-worker at a local fast food joint. But, Eric’s sexual awakening is complicated by his new romance with his best friend Maggie. This has to be one of the very 1st LGBT films I watched and enjoyed-- aside from HBO's "Queer as Folk". It's syrupy sweet with copious amounts of obvious foreshadowing. One could almost hope and wish for a revamp or a sequel.

a-mazing. reminded me of my own coming out story, cept mine was way earlier and way rougher. Good Job!

I can't believe I didn't see this and I'm 37. It was such a great movie! And finally showing a "first time" with accurate facial expressions LOL
