L'acclamato regista Christopher Nolan dirige un cast internazionale in un'avventura fantascientifica intorno al globo e nel mondo dei sogni. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) è il migliore nell'estrarre preziosi segreti dal subconscio delle persone durante lo stato onirico, quando la mente è maggiormente vulnerabile. Le sue competenze in questo campo lo hanno reso un professionista molto richiesto nel mondo dello spionaggio industriale ma anche un ricercato, facendogli perdere tutto ciò che ha amato. Ora potrebbe avere una seconda possibilità, ma dovrà realizzare l'impossibile: un'inception, ovvero impiantare un'idea invece di rubarne una. Se Cobb e la sua squadra ci riuscissero porterebbero a compimento il crimine perfetto. Ma nessuna pianificazione o esperienza possono preparali al pericoloso nemico che sembra poter prevedere ogni loro mossa. Un nemico che solo Cobb avrebbe potuto aspettarsi.

This movie deserves EVERY SINGLE last award it received! The premise is confusingly complex which is what makes it so genius with its flawless execution. All written, produced, AND directed by a one man mastermind named Christopher Nolan! It's amazing he executed all major roles of such a project with no doubt at the audience's expense! The epitome of a unique sci-fi, eye-widening excellence.

There are a few plot holes and way to much dialog and exposition, but I guess that's required when making a movie with this kind of concept. But the creativity is on another level. This movie will go from 20 minutes of boring exposition 20 minutes of breathtaking action sequences. This isn't the best choice as a casual movie to wanting to watch with friends, but is perfect for people who want to experience a masterpiece of filmmaking. I have seen this multiple times and still find new details.

They took a pure action movie and built a flimsy premise with useless dialogue around it like a plumber who shows up at a woman's house to fix her pipes in a porno. Plot holes weren't the reason we came to see this movie.
