This suspenseful, slow-burning and powerful debut feature from writer/director Jared Douglas centers around Lucio (Christian Gnecco Quintero), a young hispanic man torn between the pain of abandoning his daughter and the safety of his own life. After finding a bag of money, he is forced to flee the world he knows. Along the way, he must confront the people and paranoia that follows him. Christian, in his first feature, delivers a physically and emotionally dedicated performance. Stunning cinematography from first timer, Neeraj Jain, a haunting score from Julian Pollack and brilliant sound design from Keith Hodne all meld together to tell a breathtaking story of a man fighting his inner demons.
