Michèle seems indestructible. Head of a successful video game company, she brings the same ruthless attitude to her love life as to business. Being attacked in her home by an unknown assailant changes Michèle's life forever. When she resolutely tracks the man down, they are both drawn into a curious and thrilling game that may, at any moment, spiral out of control.

Elizabeth hupert gives a really good performance in this movie. I wouldn't say it's a revenge film you couldn't really tell wether she's a victim or just a victim of her own emotional loneliness. It's well scripted I wouldn't ruin the plot for you but it's a good film.

ELLE is a bone chilling character study, more focused who and what Elle is than the shocking event that kicks off the narrative. This film is antithetical to American commercial sensibilities as far as movies go, but it is excellent.

Awesome movie with a unique lead character. It really is a study in how EVERYBODY handles trauma in different ways. That's just a quick summation, but I loved this one.
