After failing to get into the police academy, Chris Potamitis (Liam Hemsworth), settles for a security guard job with the EMPIRE STATE Armored Truck Company. Chris makes the mistake of mentioning the company's lax security to his best friend, Eddie (Michael Angarano), and is soon unwittingly drawn into an elaborate scheme to rob the abundant amounts of cash being stored there - resulting in the largest cash heist in U.S. History. As the stakes continue to rise, Chris and Eddie must outwit James Ransone (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), the veteran NYPD Detective that is hot on their trail, as well as the local crime bosses that want to know who pulled a job on their turf, or suffer the consequences.

Fell asleep TWICE trying to watch this sleeper... I only hope that The Rock was contractually obligated to put his face on this movie cuz I can "SMELL WHAT THE ROCK WAS COOKING" and it wasn't good acting. Shame on the management teams for Dwayne, Liam & Emma that would push them into roles like this. What a waste of $4.99

...I'm being asked to give credence to a movie set in the 80's that uses 70's culture as its vehicle. The 80's were the 80's, not the 70's. Use 80's culture for a movie set in the 80's. I understand that the 80's were enough of a cultural/sociological vacuum to warrant claiming the richness of the 70's as its own, but come on. Yet another movie painting a nonexistant picture of a decade void of social contribution.

The Rock barely appears on this movie. So deceiving putting him up front and center on the cover. Starts good, but then it becomes so boring, predictable and annoying...
