Бул кино тууралуу

A powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage, End Of Watch stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as young Los Angeles police officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city's meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city's most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay. 2012 Open Road Films. Perfect. I have no idea why this movie isn't famous. It's 100X better than the Fast and Furious series. Shot in hand-held (but professional) style it shows the PoV of 2 cops and that of the enemies of the state. Based on a real story-great acting, awesome relationships, men being awesome men, women being awesome women. The relationships are very realistic and believable (those between the men as well as those between men and women). Just great. Watch it with a good friend/your significant other.

Jake and Michael both play the role of the cop very easily. They have an excellent presence on screen not only as cops but also as friends/husband etc. Some horrific truth about the mexican drug wars and how it affects the cops in South Cali and LA. Awesome movie. great screenplay and really good direction from Ayer. Must watch.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peňa are enthralling as patrol cop partners and best friends in this gritty police drama. Their performances are so masterful you have to remind yourself that this is a film.
