End of Watch is a really intense and gritty movie. It follows two LAPD officers who are just trying to do their job, but they get caught up in some dangerous stuff. The acting is amazing, especially by Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña. It's a bit violent at times, but it's also really realistic and makes you appreciate the work of police officers.

The lead actors turn in great performances but the whole thing is derivative, unoriginal and ultimately disappointing. And don't get me started on the shoddy camera work.

Great film. You can really see the genuine friendship between both Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, developed both onscreen and off screen. They're both very likable, believable characters that make the film funny yet intense, emotional and gripping.
