In their mission to abide by their oath to serve and protect, Officers Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Peña) have formed a powerful brotherhood to ensure they both make it home at the end of watch. I have to say that this was an intense and realistic story of L.A. cops and what they have to deal with every shift. From the beginning chase sequence I was captivated all the way to the end. Have to say, this was a deep movie.

Nice to see a movie which attempts to show a more heroic and well intended sort of idealism with respect to police.

Amazing movie ..best I've seen in a while ..starts a bit slow but keep watching ...fantastic ending ...sad tho
