In their mission to abide by their oath to serve and protect, Officers Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Peña) have formed a powerful brotherhood to ensure they both make it home at the end of watch. But nothing can prepare them for the violent backlash that happens after they pull over the members of a notorious drug cartel for a routine traffic stop.

I have to say that this was an intense and realistic story of L.A. cops and what they have to deal with every shift. From the beginning chase sequence I was captivated all the way to the end. Have to say, this was a deep movie.

Nice to see a movie which attempts to show a more heroic and well intended sort of idealism with respect to police.

Watched this movie on a plane. Didn't think it was going to be such an amazing movie.
