Ensiferum was founded in 1995 by Markus Toivonen (guitar), Sauli Savolainen (bass) and Kimmo Miettinen (drums). For the band's name, they took the Latin neuter gender adjective ensiferum, which means "sword bearer".

nothing better then a good piece of Ensiferum, while cooking for my family halfway from Christmas to Silvester :) Yes... I'm a dad of 40... :)

I 'm surprised that I can find Ensiferum in Play Store.
