Also starring are Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the all-powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as wise spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. I'll admit from the outset, comics-based movies aren't my cinematic tipple. I watch them from time to time - I have to, most of my movie pals love these flicks - but I often stick a metaphorical fork in my hand whilst I watch them. There's some good stuff in this one and some great actors, but god does it go on. Full review for more: bit.ly/EternalsFilm

What's the difference between the Avengers and the Eternals? The eternals are immortal. That's it? Yep. The characters themselves are not imposing, nor are they impressive. Their powers are really quite pathetic in fact. Cast interactions were awful, the script made decent actors look like first-time rookies. The traditional Marvel teaser at the end was beyond horrific. I made it only part-way through the 'Starfox' intro. It was cringe inducing. Thankfully I saw this tripe on Disney+.

i don't even know what to call this abomination of a movie, 2 of the like 4 million characters actually had a role that made sense. the story of these characters wasn't making sense, if you're telling me these guys could've met jesus and still don't know how to stick together, there's something wrong with them. why is there a 9000 year old ginger child that just brought the movie down altogether, so glad sprite isn't an eternal anymore. morbius is unironically better than this
