Don't be put off by people describing this as a found footage movie. It's mainly not the shaky camera in the dark type and because of the premise of reviewing the records from a lost mission it blends well with the story. It's well done and believable and a good watch. At no point did I think this looks cheap or that the acting was poor or the story didn't feel natural. Not for those looking for non stop action or a Star wars budget but definitely decent.

Conceptually this is nothing amazing. The plot has been done many times before. The editing is annoying and unimaginative. The acting isn't bad but it's not all that convincing. Unmemorable cast. Two thirds of the way through and the plot becomes very predictable. If you have recently watched Gravity and are looking for something along the same lines then this is it but you are likely to be somewhat disappointed overall.

I gave this film 2 stars because Sharlto Copley is great fun as usual, and the guy's scream when he wakes up around half way through. The story is crap and the characters are annoying. Oh man, this film is not good and is boring and nothing interesting happens apart from to Sharlto's character. I would avoid it and watch a much better space film.
