Commentaries on nihilism by way of Kung-Fu Hustle and the banal absurdities of the modern family. This is an effort to make you laugh in the face of everything, to rejoice in yourself and your failures, to cling to the people close to you as well as the brothers and sisters you never knew. It employs cgi, crayons, and everything in between to convey a message of unjustifiable hope. If you have ever wondered who you might have been, if you have ever clung to faith in a faithless child, if you have ever wanted to see a taiko drummer and a hibachi chef have a kung-fu battle, this is the film for you. No film is for everyone, but no film has come so close as Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.

This should be the best movie ever. It has so many emotional layers to it. If you grow up in an Asian household, this definitely hits home. You might not be able to feel any connection with what the movie is trying to convey if you don't have the connection to the culture. If you do, just be prepared for an emotional roller coaster. And at the same time, with all these multiverses stuff, you'd feel that nothing matters, really....
