After their son disappears, grieving parents adopt a feral boy who begins to eerily resemble their Vania. As strange accidents begin happening the pair soon wonders whether they've adopted something not entirely human.

Quite good, the low-ratings of the less sophisticated notwithstanding.

best movie of the year, i strongly recommend it
