An intense psychological thriller, from acclaimed writer/director Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Sunshine), EX_MACHINA is a chilling vision of the not-too-distant future of artificial intelligence. Good movie for those who haven't read a single Scifi book, but seasoned Scifi fans will find little new in this very-slow-burning cyber drama which was shot in a few rooms. In short, I regret spending 1.5h of my life for this. P.S. It's much more entertaining and refreshing finding free short indie half-unpolished gems in general YouTube channel

Weird and took away excitement at the mid ending. Movie in the beginning was really weird and didn't really tell back stories of these guys well.. who was this kid anyway (just a programmer) who had signed in to some competition Then there was this guy Ethan if I remember it correctly who was interested of creating a personal sextoys *many* of them and in the end kid was just manipulated and tricked by a robot. Stupid. Took away whole feeling

It's really an old fashioned sci Fi story with modern cinematography. Worth a look though: better than a Danny Boyle film, that's f'sure.
