Lt. Kinderman and Father Dyer cheer each other up on the anniversary of the death of their mutual friend, Father Damien Karras, by going to see "It's a Wonderful Life" at the local theater in Georgetown, near Washington D.C. But there's no cheering Kinderman while a particularly cruel and gruesome serial killer is at large. His murders, which involve torture, decapitation and the desecration of religious icons, is bad enough; but they also resemble those of the Gemini Killer, who has been dead for fifteen years.

Probably the most slept on Horror film. Legion has little to do with exorcism, the entire final third of the film was refilmed so it would fall in line with the two previous films in the franchise. Exorcist 3 is violent but shows next to no gore, it's credited with one of the best scary scenes of all time and the performances are on point. Finally the dialogue is excellent and there are some great clues and scenes that require a re-watch. This isn't the first film, it's much different.

I think this is one of the greatest horror movies ever. Brad Douriff would have won an Oscar if anyone saw this in the theaters. He did a masterful job as the Gemini killer "SORRY WAS I RAVING ! " A must see in my book. George C. Scott turns in his usual solid performance. Even a cameo of Patrick Ewing ! The end could have been better but overall superb example of how a horror movie doesn't need a lot of violence, gore, obscenities, or nudity to be a great movie ! Just superior acting.

This is a slept on underappreciated underrated classic horror film. Two high-profile deranged twisted serial killers have noted this film for inspiration for their killings!? That alone should make you interested in taking a look at it. Its creepy its suspenseful its original it has dark humor in it it doesn't take itself too seriously but enough to make it interesting unlike the original Exorcist. But that cherry on top of this diamond in the rough film is Brad Dourifs amazing performance as the Gemini killer that alone makes this worth seeing. Give this film a chance you might be surprised in a good unexpected way.
