Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) leads a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he's going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they've ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom's forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena). Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before. The film stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang, with Oscar® winner Helen Mirren, and Oscar® winner Charlize Theron.

Instead of the rock now they get john cena involved. Cena plays Dom's brother which makes no mention in the , what now , previous 8 movies. Jacob is a bad guy who turns to a good guy after being betrayed by who , you guessed it , Cypher (Thereon) again. This movie is chalk full of nonsense. Bringing back Tokyo Drift characters to Han being somehow resurrected to the ending of the movie which they need to just let that go already. And of course theres that one knucklehead , Roman crybaby Pierce

This movie is bad, just bad.... From plot to performances bad. This franchise needs to be killed and Diesel retired. I mean why do they fight like cyborgs and super heroes? Every scene made to feel emotional but stupid with lame dialogues, predictable set pieces and Diesel acting so heroic and appearing just at the last moments to sort of bring hope.....with his stupid monotonous voice. My one star is just for the effects, camera movements and panning, nothing else. Gosh, this is bad.

This movie is peak action packed camp. No depth, a rehash of the same familial plotlines, and Vin Diesel continues to endearingly take himself too seriously. I recommend that those of legal drinking age play a game with friends in which everyone takes a shot every time the word "family" is mentioned. By the time they get a car into space, you'll be enjoying the movie as much as we did.
