O ovom filmu

Winner of multiple awards, Fabergé: A Life of Its Own tells the definitive story of the world's most famous artist jeweller. Starting in Imperial St Petersburg, the film traces an epic journey from Peter Carl Fabergé's intensely personal commissions for the Tsars, through the tragic demise of the Romanov family, the Russian Revolution and a flood of Fabergé to the West, and on into the company's 21st century resurrection. With access to the collections of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and many others, Fabergé's famous Imperial Easter Eggs and other immaculate creations are shown in sparkling detail but balanced with wider historical context. The film features interviews with family members Tatiana and Sarah Fabergé and a wide range of collectors and experts, with brief appearances by Roger Moore, Farrah Fawcett Majors and Armand Hammer. The story draws to a close with a revelation: rare glimpses of the long-hidden Winter Egg, the single most spectacular and valuable object ever produced by Fabergé.
