Very moving story, in which the unerasable past of the Holocaust lives on and deeply affects the lives of those living in Rome today. Most of the movie depicts the events in the present, but the past is masterly woven into the tapestry. If you appreciate thorough character development, set in realistic context, historic relevance, and a cinematic experience so different from Hollywood, this is a must see.

I have seen this movie for at least more than five times, every time I was moved by the beautiful scenes, emotions and music. Delicate, graceful while down to earth, this movie is a must see to everyone, man and woman, man and man, woman and woman.
