Acerca de esta película

Michael Jai White (Spawn) stars in this action adventure as John "Falcon" Chapman, an ex-marine anti-hero plagued with a terrible secret consuming him with guilt. On the self-destructive edge, he learns his sister Cindy (Laila Ali) has been brutally beaten in the slums or “favelas” of Brazil and travels there to hunt down her attackers. In the process he discovers an underground world of drugs, prostitution, and police corruption ruled by the Japanese mafia and protected by the powerful Hirimoto (Masashi Odate, The Last Samurai). With incredible fight sequences and edge of your seat action, Falcon Rising is an in your face thrill-ride introducing America’s newest action hero.

Excellent movie, particularly for the apparently small budget. Michael Jai White displays Martial arts skills that presents a realism more often seen in big budget productions. His pistol skills are equally impressive. Michael Jai is single handedly changing the image of African American males in lead roles. No dresses, no thugs, no bad cop and most importantly no freaks, just straight up beat downs.

That action stance with the two guns and the legs...looks like a poster shot right out of a action/comedy Will Ferrell movie. Worth the watch though. Action!

Nicely written movie, seems to heading for a series of Falcon movies, Michael Jai White is awesome as usual in this flick, lots of fight scenes, choreographed well. Can't wait for the next movie, and more intense villains, give him a love interest as well.
