“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

The first movie is wayyy better than the 2nd. I feel like the characters are potrayed really well. Specifically the main 4. As the audience, we could really tell the bond they form in a short time. I felt like I wanted them to always be together as a group of friends after watching the movie, something I rarely feel for fictional characters. Plot wise, dont have much to say but it does wrap it up nicely for the opening of 2nd movie. As for the inconsistencies that others are saying, I dont rlly know what they mean by it since I dont remember details from hp series that well
