O ano é 1926 e algo misterioso está deixando um rastro de destruição nas ruas de Nova Iorque que ameaça relatar a comunidade mágica. Newt Scamander regressa a cidade de uma excursão mundial para pesquisar e resgatar criaturas mágicas. Quando No-Maj Jacob Kowalski de forma acidental deixa que algumas criaturas escapem, um grupo de improváveis herois precisam recuperar as criaturas antes que elas possam causar estragos. Mas a missão desse corajoso grupo está em rota de colisão com as poderosas forças da escuridão.

Classificações e resenhas

Having grown up with the Harry Potter books and movies I gotta say, I really love that they have taken some note worthy characters and given some more insight on their impact on the Wizarding world. Especially liked that it takes place in America since I have always wondered what the Wizarding situation was like here. The creatures were captivating although some I don't recall being mentioned in any of the HP books. I'd love to see more movies like this, based in Eastern Europe or SE asia.

It's a movie that features action and is PG-13. I'd give it a 2 but it's pretty whatchable as a one off HP story.

Great! Loved it! A little dark halfway through but what Harry Potter movie isn't? The creatures were well designed all the way through, and the story was awesome! Newt has to be my personal favorite because I can relate to him on so many levels. Totally recommend for 12+ at least.
