Michael Douglas plays Dan Gallagher, a New York attorney who has a tryst with seductive Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) while his wife (Anne Archer) is away. Dan later shrugs off the affair as a mistake and considers it over. But Alex won't be ignored. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever...even if it means destroying Dan's family to keep him.

4 and a half out of 5. I pretty much love this film. I just saw it for the first time last night and the blend of drama and suspense is superb. I feel in the end after Alex rises from the tub more fighting should have happened and more drama and even the tub should have feel through the floor with the flooding but for the most part this kept me holding on and shocked most of its time.

I watched this a lot. I am very angry, upset, and disturbed that theyd kill off an animal. What does Adrian Lyne have against rabbits anyway!!!????

I'm so glad that they decided at the last minute to change the ending to where Alex dies in the bathtub instead of her killing herself with a kitchen knife in her own home. That would have ruined the whole movie for me. It's a shame to me that Glenn Close didn't see it that way when she played the part.
