5 Stars! This was a very off beat and completely original character driven movie. I almost didn't watch this because there was only one review and it was two stars. But then I saw that Lori Petty is in it. Haven't seen her in a movie for a long time. This reminded me of the great character pieces from the 70's when I was a little kid. Things like 'Being There,' or 'Harold and Maude.' I was surprised at how touching and, at times, real life funny it was. The filmmaker clearly understands how humans work. Lori Petty has a small supporting role but it was good to see her in something new. The best thing is the unique but simple script, which balances drama and light comedy perfectly, and the two lead actors. I love when I discover unknown actors who eventually become well known. I've never heard of Dustin Coffey and Linda Burzynski but they nailed their characters. A man afraid to go outside and a tough as nails, but very troubled, female Marine. What a great and weird couple they made. You can tell this is a VERY low budget film from the lack of production value. This felt like the films we used to get more of when movies like 'Clerks and 'Strangers in Paradise' were made.

I really enjoyed this film. It's character driven and low budget but I was engaged the whole time. My brother has agoraphobia and he really related to the main character.
