Very touching and poignant movie based on a true story. Well developed characters, and superbly acted performances, giving personas to the VMI boys who fought and lost their lives during The Market Hill battle in the civil war. Some rather poetic scenes framing the nature of this conflict, as well as extremely powerful moments focusing on the senseless, and horrific, slaughter, we as a nation once drove each other to, by giving way to fears, and anger.

It's exciting to see some actors are back in the older era of war movies... Very very good portrayal of the battle though there were some cheesy parts like when they look at the field it's really stupid and looks like a painting

I usually am bored to death with history movies, but this one made me laugh and brought me to tears
