If you have a cadet attending or about to attend VMI, this is a must see to fully understand and appreciate the history and aura that IS Virginia Military Institute.

Very touching and poignant movie based on a true story. Well developed characters, and superbly acted performances, giving personas to the VMI boys who fought and lost their lives during The Market Hill battle in the civil war. Some rather poetic scenes framing the nature of this conflict, as well as extremely powerful moments focusing on the senseless, and horrific, slaughter, we as a nation once drove each other to, by giving way to fears, and anger.
