Hollywood doesn't know how to truly show this stuff they glorify it instead of exploring it and explaining it properly. Its not, after all like they have a duty to humanity, what after warping the last 3 generations of peoples minds. Sex sells right and theyre still rumbling along on that capitalist infrastructure that has brought the human race to ruin. Thanks Hollywood, please go back to whatever rock you crawled out from under back in the 20's. Youre definitely not part of the solution, so..

You would have to watch all of the movies to understand and see the characters grow. I absolutely love these movies and even when parts that didn't seem necessary came, it always ended up explaining and have some meaning to it. Though many parts of the first movie made me laugh because of how rushed it seemed, I ended up enjoying them anyway. If you plan on watching these, don't give up on the story because there IS major growth. The cliffhangers always made me come back to watch the next one, and when I say it was worth watching, I mean it with all my heart.

Before I purchased this Trilogy, which i haven't even watched yet, I had already seen all three movies several times. It was not for the sex so much as it was a great story line! You had to see all three movies to see Christian unfold from a very abusive and dominating man to women to a most loving man who with Ana's help learned how to let go and admit the truth about his own abusive life and how he became dominate and abusive over women. It was a powerful movie that wasn't just about sex.
