Loads of "after school special" resolutions aided in making this movie seem as if it were trying to cross numerous genres to ill effect giving it the worst quality of a jack of all trades. Again surprised by the horrid song selection that makes all of these movies more like Fifty Shades of Grey's Anatomy and shocked to see Danny Elfman behind it all. The first movie was quite good but suffered the same problems on a much smaller, manageable scale. This one culminated into the shameless cash-in on a popular book series for which Hollywood has created a tradition.

I was disappointed in it. You could tell it was rushed AGAIN. There was so much in the book that could've been added to make the movie better and give it more depth. They should've added Ana's father Ray's accident. And her birthday. They should've made the hospital scene longer than that including Grace's conversations with Christian, Ray arriving upset, and when Ana got home from the hospital. The ending sucks they should've stick with the book, it had a better ending. It would've shown the different sides of Christian and how he learns to love Ana. Movie wise it was okay. However it could have been A LOT better.

I have seen all three movies and I have loved this seires. Yes the books are way better and with more detail but I believe that happens with most books that are eventually turned into movies. I love this movie seires because it helps show that even with a terrible background anyone can grow up to be what they choose. Christian choose to go down that path he did to become successful in life, and he even grew to love someone so unconditionally that he would do anything to protect her.
