It is December 7, 1980 and the nuclear carrier, U.S.S. Nimitz is on routine exercises in the Pacific when it is hit by a freak electrical storm that warps the time space continuum and sends the ship back in time. As the storm dissipates it becomes increasingly clear that this fully laden, nuclear aircraft carrier is now at sea off the coast of Hawaii on December 6, 1941 - hours before the WWII Japanese assault on Pearl Harbour. Do they allow the Japanese to complete their murderous invasion or launch a massive counter-strike that will forever change the course of history? 1980 Polyc International B.V, All Rights Reserved.

Surprised that with the quality of the cast in this film, I've never heard of it before... Must admit, not totally surprised, while I did enjoy the film, I was feeling underwhelmed at the end. A huge build up, to nothing. I felt, they could have made it half an hour longer, and made a great film out of it! But with that said, It's still enjoyable, as long as you don't mind feeling disappointed at the end of the film LOL If you are going to rent this, rent the standard version, don't waste an extra dollar on the HD like I did, because I don't think it made any difference, for a film of this age, I should have expected that though.

I had the video years ago. Want to have it back in my library, but it's not available in Aust. BUGGER!!!........... It is now :-))
