Terrible, quite hard to review as I am lost for words. The film WAS good, until the pair took their phycadellic journey together, it was at this point it lost all its credibility. Why on earth did we take a space oddesy-never ending story phycadellic ride with images from a PowerPoint slide show? The artistic way the film is shot, shot its self in the foot by such poor visuals during that part of the movie. The story omitting this scene would have been pretty great.

I would give it about 3 and a half stars out of five. Very slow and not much happens in it. I watched it all but was not that much impressed.

First reformed bravely looks at the impact of the climate crisis, as well as the hypocrisy of the church, businesses and individuals on all sides. It is dark no doubt and not perfect but I'm glad there is challenging and intelligent film making like this. Has good performances and the cinematography is beautifully bleak.
