About this movie

This is one of director John Lo Mar’s best flat-out, fight-filled, non-stop minimal martial arts masterpieces. There’s much more than five fighting styles on screen in this thrilling and fun tale of wushu warriors going at it in every variation!

I have to be honest that I didn't care for the movie. Its better than some other martial arts movies, as the clarity of filming was decent of a Shaw Brothers movie. The plot felt a little weak and the fighting techniques while okay, it just felt lacking. The style was also hard to figure as it looked heavily taken from drunken monkey a Hodge podge of other Shaw Brothers techniques of pole usage or kicks. The ending was predictable and if they had a little differently, the students and new teachers could have been a better spin.
