In Flatliners (2017) a medical student, Ellen Page convinces her colleagues which include Nina Dobrev, Diego Luna and Kiersey Clemons to participate in an experiment on "near death" experiences. Past tragedies start getting dark consequences which begin to jeopardize their lives. Then, in the original Flatliners (1990), Kiefer Sutherland and Julia Roberts lead a talented group of medical students on a dangerous journey to the other side of death...and back.

Not horrible, but not great! Kind of weird, with a few good jump scares! This remake could have been an awesome scary as hell movie! Someone dropped the ball! Worth a $2.99 rental.
