Recounted mostly through animation to protect his identity, Amin opens up about his past as a child refugee from Afghanistan. He looks back over his life as he grapples with a secret he's kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he's built for himself and his future husband.

This movie is amazing. Gorgeous animation and impactful story. As an lgbtq person and child of an immigrant, this story hit me personally. I hope the people who this story is based on are doing alright.

Excellent documentary about the loss and struggle of being an immigrant. Beautifully animated and perfectly imperfect. Loved it!
